21 Moments

Happy World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD)!  WDSD is recognized every year on March 21 or 3-21 because Down syndrome is created when a person has three copies of the 21st chromosome.  There are celebrations, ceremonies and educational activities all around. We are doing nothing special to celebrate today other than to enjoy life. Something I learn from Rachel on a daily basis is that there is joy in the journey.  I decided that for WDS 2014 I would share “21 Moments” from Rachel’s almost 15 years of life. I wanted to choose 21 Favorite Photos for 21 Favorite Moments but that was too hard. And yes, I know there  are 27 photos. Some of these are shared moments even if not at the same moment in time. That’s why I numbered the moments! Oh and if I had music to go with it would be “Beautiful Life” by Fisher (known as the Toyota Beautiful Life Commercial). It is a beautiful time to be here. .. I hope you enjoy!
